Smart Tech Documentation

Welcome to the Smart Tech smart metering system documentation.

System Overview

This documentation covers two main components of the Smart Tech ecosystem:

Metering Appliance

Hardware devices deployed in buildings to collect utility meter readings (water, gas, heat, electricity). Each appliance supports multiple communication protocols including Modbus TCP/RTU, M-Bus, and wireless M-Bus.

Smart Tech App

Cloud-based platform that connects multiple metering appliances, providing centralized data collection, visualization, and export capabilities. Features include real-time monitoring, historical data analysis, and flexible data export tools.

Key Features

  • Multi-Protocol Support: Modbus, M-Bus, and wireless meter communication
  • Real-time Data Collection: Live meter readings and status monitoring
  • Excel Integration: FlexibleExport tool for seamless spreadsheet workflows
  • API Access: RESTful API for programmatic data export and integration
  • Permission Management: User-based access control for multi-tenant environments

Getting Started

  • Metering Appliance: See the API documentation for device integration
